Nigel is a qualified BCU level 3 inland and Sea Kayak coach, as well as a Foundation safety and Rescue Training provider.

He has practiced his coaching skills primarily at club level,

whilst continuing to receive extensive coaching on his own personal paddling from some of the countries top professional coaches

He has the new BCU 3 star award in open canoeing and has completed the new 4 star open canoe training.
Hopefully obtaining the 4 star canoe leader award shortly

He has also completed his 5 star sea training.

His coaching follows what is current BCU best practice.
