About our coaches
Maria and Nigel are qualified BCU level 3 inland and Sea Kayak coaches, as well as Foundation safety and Rescue Training providers.
Nigel also holds the new BCU 5 star sea kayak leaders award.
They have practiced their coaching skills primarily at club level,
whilst continuing to receive extensive coaching on their own personal paddling from some of the countries top professional coaches.
They have the new BCU 3 star award in open canoeing and have completed the new 4 star leadership open canoe training.
Hopefully obtaining the 4 star canoe leader award shortly
Maria has also completed her 5 star sea kayak training.
Their coaching follows what is current BCU best practice.
They are able to call upon a network of coaches, to fulfil all you coaching needs.
